He's a canny one that David Cameron. Decades of multicultural nightmare, the Britain we know torn to shreds, and finally, amen, he decides to say something about it. Not the sharpest tool in the box if it took him this long to notice that there was a problem, unless he cynically means to try and hijack a wave of public upset over the failure that is multicultural Britain. He's not even made the speech yet and it's all over the papers, oh the glories of spin.Mr Cameron huffs and tuts about "WE" allowed this to happen, but WE didn't. The politicians of successive Labour and Conservative (and now ConDem) did more than allow it to happen, they made sure it happened, they forced it on us against our wishes. Less of the "WE" Mr Cameron, it was "YOU".
But, we'll allow that to slide, everyone already knows who is really to blame for the mess that is multiculturalism. Perhaps, benefit of the doubt, for the time being, Cameron has some answers. He's came a little late to the game, but perhaps he has had some conversion on the road to Damascus, maybe he has some great ideas to extricate us from the mess we're in.
Some hope, all the soundbites in the world do not a lifejacket make, and all that hot air is not enough to change the course that we are set upon.
Mr Camerons great ideas. We'll stop funding for groups that don't promote integration, indeed we'll force them to integrate! Immigrants will be, shock, horror, forced to learn English. Schools will have to teach British culture - Newspeak culture no doubt, where all that is not integrationist and multiracial is evil, and Britain is a kind benefactor to all nations of the world.
And, that seems to be it. He's even got a name for it, "Muscular Liberalism"
"Muscular Liberal" must be one of the most unfortunate choices of labels ever, unless deliberately designed to tip a hat to Britains gay community. It certainly conjures up a most disturbing image of a bewhiskered muscleman in skintight lycra, wrists made weak by the great burden of liberalism he must hold.
But, back on topic after that segue into what could well be the name of a new, homosexual superhero used to educate our children in schools.
Cameron demonstrates a total ignorance of the problem altogether, or a total unwillingness to face up to it, rather concentrating on some soundbites that surely can't fool even the most gullible and zealous member of the Tory party.
His essential solution to the problem of multiculturalism is to try and inflict monoculturalism on a hideously diverse society, and it appears that he acutely has no idea what culture it is that should be inflicted. Some all inclusive, different yet the same, all brothers, all free to do whatever, madness that will only exacerbate problems in the short term. I'll defend your right to say it, free speech and all, so long as it doesn't offend anyone else. We are Borg, you will be assimilated. Good luck making 5 million Muslims embrace Gay Pride.
In the long term it matters not unless something is done, breeding rates and immigration will see to that. Probably the only net result in the long term, if it all works out in line with Camerons ideas, will be a colonised, and most like Muslim, nation who can all speak English. Some consolation, a culture is far more than a language, Britain might die but the tongue will survive. Thank you Mr Cameron.
Cameron grasps upon a few symptoms, misreads their significance totally, yet feels he has to say something. It seems there's a growing disquiet among the public after all, there might be a few votes to be won by appearing to do something. He, like all of Lib/Lab/Con, cannot bring himself to admit that mass immigration and the colonisation of Britain has been an absolute disaster for all of us, instead deciding to blame the way in which it was inflicted. It was not allowing Britain to be overrun by millions of immigrants in the first place that was the problem, rather just that it should have been handled differently.
Hurrah for muscular liberalism! Mr Cameron can keep it, it's just the same old spiel and excuses with a different label and some fresh clothes. For all our muscular liberalism, the march towards white minority, Christian minority, continues, and at tipping point no muscles in the world will prevent our colonisers from casting the deciding vote. When that day arrives, expect no muscular liberalism from them to defend our children and grandchildren, who will have become the white, British, minority.
