One date in history that Brown and his Marxist Labour cronies, plus no few in the traitorous Tory camp, won’t be celebrating - is that of the 793rd anniversary of the ratification of Magna Carta by King John at Runnymede.
As every student of history should know, King John was forced to agree to this, arguably the world’s most famous document, on the 15th day of June 1215, by his disgruntled barons. Failure to comply would have plunged England into civil war - almost certainly resulting in the removal of King John from his throne.
As it happens, John only survived his humiliation by a year - dying of dysentery in 1216.
The document established a number of fundamental rights governing the relationship between King, Church and subjects, some of which – Habeas Corpus for instance – remain in force to this day.
And that’s the problem for the Labour and Tory Party EU collaborationists who are determined to usurp our ancient rights through the adoption of alien EU law or otherwise abuse our democracy to railroad through tyrannical legislation – such as internment without trial (albeit for a proposed 42 days at present). .
Back in the days of King John imprisoning people without trial, solely on the word of the King or one of his officials, was deemed unacceptable – hence section 29 of Magna Carta:
XXIX. NO Freeman shall be taken or imprisoned, or be disseised of his Freehold, or Liberties, or free Customs, or be outlawed, or exiled, or any other wise destroyed; nor will We not pass upon him, nor condemn him, but by lawful judgment of his Peers, or by the Law of the Land. We will sell to no man, we will not deny or defer to any man either Justice or Right.
Clearly, “King Gord” and those who support his repressive legislative proposals, want to turn the clock back 900 years to a time of feudalism and serfdom.
So today, let’s celebrate the spirit (if not letter) of Magna Carta and redouble our efforts to remove the Euro-collaborationist traitors from high office and bring them to justice!
