I wasn’t going to publish this article originally, but I guess it's been eating away at me. I can’t believe this woman’s shameful political mongering, to use Remembrance Day to put down any political opponent is probably the lowest of the low. Only a gibbering hypocrite could pass such comments. Does she think that BNP members and supporters haven’t lost relatives and loved ones in the past and present wars? Including Labours illegal war in Iraq. It’s time that they started to listen to the BNP instead of continuing with disgraceful behaviour like this.
At least Barnsley Labour Party and Barnsley Council have had the decency to let our members and supporters remember those that fought for us without brainless altercation. We do represent over 25% of the electorate and should be entitled (without conflict) to attend such processions.
The MP for Mitcham and Morden, Siobhain McDonagh, said she was deeply troubled that the British National Party laid a wreath as part of the Remembrance service at Mitcham war memorial.
Around 40 members of the BNP's Morden and Wandsworth branch attended the event on Sunday, November 11.
Ms McDonagh said: "It's so sad and disappointing that these people attended. We honour the victims of war because so many lost their lives in a fight against fascism and the very politics the BNP support…..
