A MUM today declared the streets of Sheffield a safer place after a monster who kidnapped and raped her 14-year-old daughter was caged.
She spoke out after failed Iraqi asylum seeker Ayad Mahmoud, aged 35, was jailed for 10 years and told he is to be deported at the end of his sentence.
The brave victim, who is now 15, was forced to relive her ordeal by testifying against him and enduring a cross examination grilling.
Today her mum and a senior detective praised the youngster for seeing the case through, and said she may have saved other girls from falling prey to the "predator". STORY HEREMaybe our local MPs could campaign on his behalf!! They do seem to favour them. SEE THIS
