A FORMER city councillor who claimed £30,000 in taxpayers money for doing next to nothing has been given a top honour by fellow politicians.During her last two-and-a-half years as Stockland Green councillor she had not hosted advice surgeries, refused to attend ward and constituency meetings and ignored correspondence from voters.Instead, she had moved hundreds of miles away to Northumberland and stayed away from Birmingham, except for a handful of the monthly full council meetings - enough to qualify for her £15,000 a year allowance.STORY HERE
