A COUNCIL has told cabbies to remove stickers from their vehicles which state they are being driven by "British drivers".But they have angered one Polish taxi driver........Stanislaw Mackowiak said: "In my opinion, this is racist. I hope you don't assume that all the Polish people are like the, obviously, shameless and hare-brained Mr. Mackowiak? I dare think he is a disgraceful exception among the Polish guest workers in Britain. I am blushing because of his silly conduct. The vast majority of Poles working in Britain are totally unlike him. They are humble folks,very conscious that they are just guests in a foreign country, whose population, moreover, is exceptionally kind and fair towards them. I know what I am talking about, because I am one of these guest workers. May God always protect Great Britain and the Great British People - the greatest nation in the history of mankind.
Yeh,is that because we are stupid enough to let every other bastard come here,lets face it how many Brits have taken the opportunity to go to Poland and work?.
As a white female I'd sooner get into a Polish taxi than a Muslim one. I cant be the only British woman a little glad to see the Poles arrive to swell the ranks a bit. They share our values, our religion and our ethnicity. If we HAVE to have immigrants let them be Europeans who will actually contribute to Britain without trying to take it over as a caliphate.
Anon,in some respects you are correct,BUT,you also have to consider the bad points about the Poles working here ,i.e..the lowering of wages,unemployment rising among Brits,strain on local services,more crime(not all Poles are law abiding),housing shortages...etc...the bad points outnumber the good by far.
It seems totally obvious that the influx of poles to the country aren’t the slightest bit interested in preserving the rights of the British worker that our forefathers suffered great hardship fighting for in the national strikes and other industrial actions which were taken to make the working life better.
Please don’t tell us that they are only doing the job that we won’t do; that’s utter crap.
Just do me one favour and stop and think of the damage you are doing to your own country; I know that the Polish economy will openly accept all the sterling that is sent home on a regular basis but think about the country in the future when you can’t get the tradesmen because they are all here (computer Technicians – picking flowers, University graduates – packing food etc etc).
Not only do we suffer the loss of work and workers rights but it effects us financially too, all that surplus money sent out of the country with nothing being re-invested in our own economy, not to mention the loss of tax to our government when workers return to Poland, who do you think picks up the tab for this shortfall?
However I must agree with anon2. If we need immigrants let it be the Poles. But when we need them we can send for them.
