We certainly have our share of Eastern Europeans here in Barnsley, although nothing near the same amount as Lincolnshire; however, the numbers are growing, despite the council’s claim that they are returning home. Max Senior, the councils ‘Racial Harrasment Officer’ (complete waste of tax payer’s money. The Police have more power to deal with these matters than a ‘jobs for the boys’ clown) claimed in a statement that foreign interpreters were needed due to ‘The ever increasing number of East Europeans into Barnsley’. Don’t be fooled by the council and their Labour lies.
Anyhow; whilst down there I took the opportunity to visit RAF Waddington and watch the air show, a truly magnificent day out; however, after watching the new Typhoon Eurofighter which has just been given the ‘Combat Ready’ status by the top brass, I couldn’t help wondering what will become of our armed forces when we finally become European. European Air Force? European Navy? European Army? We already have European Police and the thought of sharing the expertise of our brave boys and girls frightened me somewhat.
There was no comparison in the amount of skill that the RAF pilots had over the foreign display teams. They were all good; however the British pilots really showed them the way, especially our very own Red Arrows whose display still held the crowd in awe even though the weather was quite grim.
I have put a few of my favourite photos I took on the day below, just click the images to enlarge.
