Our town at this moment in time has only a small Muslim Community but we feel this must be kept under control, so we don’t end up like Dewsbury, Bradford and other neighbouring towns.
All of you reading this page already know about the towns immigrants mainly the Kosovo refugees, but we are also faced with another problem; Eastern Europeans which are now allowed to come to the UK to live and work legally. These workers will take thousands of jobs and thus put the good town folk of Barnsley out of employment, by working for minimum wages which is far better than they are used to back home. Normally large numbers will share accommodation and food bills enabling them to send their surplus money back home, which in turn also damages the town’s economy because nothing will be reinvested into Barnsley.
